Levski's CEO Daniel Borimirov confirmed to Sportal.bg that the transfer of Karl Fabien from Slavia to the “blues” will not take place. The boss of the “Gerena” team is disappointed by the actions of the player's representatives, who have desired personal dividends in the future transfer of the player.
“It is true that we did not reach an understanding with Fabien's representatives. I don't want to say his agents, because these people do not have a FIFA license and put a third person as manager. I haven't seen people like this in a long time. They want things that can't possibly happen. Their desire is to put a clause according to which they will take money in the next transfer. Not even the player, but themselves. This cannot be allowed by FIFA and will be illegal. "We had agreed on everything with Slavia, but not with these people. The player himself expressed his desire to come to us. It is true that there are still two days until the end of the transfer window, but I think things have fallen through. I don't think we will start looking for a replacement right now. Krasi Petrov has been sent to Brazil to look at players, so we will rather prepare for the summer," Borimirov told Sportal.bg.
The winger of the “Whites” will not move to “Gerena” after the talks between the “Blues” management and the player's agents did not lead to a final understanding. Thus, Fabien remains at “Ovcha Kupel”, even though the two clubs had reached an agreement between themselves.
The problem is that the player's representatives have requested a clause in the contract, under which a part of the future transfer fee would go to them. There are two days left until the transfer window closes in Bulgaria, but the chances of a change in the situation are minimal, although the player's desire is to move to the 'Georgi Asparuhov" stadium.
