Arsenal's hopes in the fight for the Premier League title suffered a new blow after a goal by Jared Bowen just before half-time gave West Ham United a 1-0 away win in a match from the 26th round of the championship, BTA reported.

Bowen scored with a close-range header in the 44th minute, and Arsenal suffered their first home defeat of the season. Bournemouth's fourth home defeat of the season came after they were reduced to 10 men after defender Ilia Zabarni was sent off in the 31st minute.
