Marco Asensio scored two goals and fellow new signing Marcus Rashford provided two assists for Aston Villa, who overcame a goal deficit to beat Chelsea 2-1 at "Villa Park" in a match from the 26th round of the English football championship.
After the success, Aston Villa climbed to seventh place in the standings with 42 points, one point behind Chelsea, who dropped to sixth position.
The visitors opened the scoring first when Pedro Neto assisted Enzo Fernandez in the 9th minute.
Both teams made many mistakes before Asensio took advantage of an assist from substitute Rashford to equalize in the 57th minute. Asensio brought the team victory a minute before the end of normal time again after a pass from Rashford.
Both Asensio and Rashford joined Aston Villa on loan earlier this month - Asensio from Paris Saint-Germain and Rashford from Manchester United.
