Levski's executive director Daniel Borimirov expressed serious dissatisfaction with the refereeing of the match with CSKA. Borimirov was categorical that the "blues" no longer want Radoslav Gidzhenov and Georgi Ginchev to referee Levski matches and will issue a declaration on this issue in the coming days.
"There is no place for incompetent referees to play in the First League. Let them play in the lower divisions. When they learn to play, then let them play in the "A" group," said Daniel Borimirov after the 2:2 draw with CSKA.
"Lately we see that the refereeing against Levski is biased. Especially since the national coach allows himself to enter the field, and no committee punishes him. What should we think now? The disciplinary committee sees that nothing from its side... The refereeing committee - the same way. What can we expect in Levski?
How can we play football with such referees? In today's match, the linesman called a controversial offside for Javad El Jimili's goal. He raised the flag immediately, and the VAR people needed 5 minutes to call out 1 centimeter of offside.
Levski will issue a declaration that we do not want Radoslav Gidzhenov and Georgi Ginchev as referees, because their refereeing is deliberately against our team. You judge, but Levski was harmed in every situation. We will demand foreign referees, as in Turkey, as in Greece. "Incompetent referees cannot play in someone's interest," Borimirov told reporters after the match.
Borimirov believes that Levski outplayed CSKA.
"I think we managed to outplay CSKA. The goals were our mistakes. I don't think CSKA outplayed us in any way. Hats off to the boys for fighting until the final whistle. We managed to impose our will and character.
We didn't start the match in the best way. After the 15th minute we got into the game. I wonder if such a derby deserves to be played by such referees," Daniel Borimirov also commented.
