CSKA coach Aleksandar Tomas expressed disappointment in the 2:2 draw with Levski, but praised his players for their dedication, BTA reported.
"This draw hurts like a loss. But I want to praise the players. We controlled things in terms of play. Levski tried to react in the second half, but then we scored a second goal. In the last minutes, emotions took over. I think the team is developing, we are on an upward trajectory. With a victory, the team would have moved up.
We were the team that was better on the field in terms of football. Things change quickly in life, even faster in football. I thank the audience for their support and I am especially sorry for the red community that we were unable to please them with a victory.
These are trials that we must go through. We must be braver", commented Alexander Tomas.
