A total of 31 people were detained during the derby between CSKA and Levski, which ended 2:2, the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
As a result of the joint actions taken by the SDVR and the Directorate General of the Gendarmerie, Special Operations and Combating Terrorism, no tension or more serious incidents were registered during today's football match between the teams of PFC „CSKA“ and PFC „Levski“.
Visitors to the sports event were checked at the checkpoints built in the area of the stadium. A total of 31 people were detained, of whom 7 were for possession of narcotics, 14 for wearing masks and 10 for carrying prohibited items, objects and pyrotechnics.
According to the preliminary plan, after the end of the football match, the supporters of the home team were delayed on the stadium territory until the withdrawal of the opposing fans.
The police did not allow serious violations of public order in the capital. The necessary measures were taken to ensure the security of citizens, with a police presence being ensured both in the central part of the city and in the neighborhoods," the Ministry of Interior informed.
