Bulgaria occupies the temporary third position in the women's team competition at the international rhythmic gymnastics tournament "Bosphorus Cup" in Istanbul (Turkey), BTA reports. Our country is represented by individual competitors Nikol Todorova and Yanitsa Dineva (pictured). With an asset of 95,500 points after the first four routines, Bulgaria is in third place. The leader is the first team of Turkey with 100,600 points, ahead of the first team of Romania with 100,000.
One of two possible finals for the country on the first competition day. Yanitsa Dineva, led by Branimira Markova, demonstrated a stable game and qualified for the ball final. The beauty from Stara Zagora received a score of 23.850 (difficulty 9.200; artistry 7.600; execution 7.050) for her routine.
Gergana Boteva's student - Tlais Nikol Todorova, remained one step away from the hoop final. She recorded a score of 24.000 (10.500; 6.900; 6.900), which left her first reserve.
The judge for Bulgaria at this competition is Filipa Filipova, who was on the difficulty panel with the ball apparatus.
Today, the routines with clubs and ribbon are ahead, after which the prizewinners in the all-around and in the team competition, as well as the finalists of the individual apparatuses, will be announced.
