Gymnasts Nikol Todorova (pictured) and Yanitsa Dineva won a bronze medal in the women's team competition at the international rhythmic gymnastics tournament "Bosphorus Cup" in Istanbul (Turkey), BTA reports. The two collected 190.450 points from their performances. The gold went to the host team, and the silver went to Romania.
Bulgaria has two out of four possible finals today. Gergana Boteva's student Tlais Nikol Todorova qualified for the ribbon final with a score of 26.150 points (difficulty 11.400; artistry 7.400; execution 7.500).
The grace, led by Branimira Markova, Yanitsa Dineva demonstrated a stable game and qualified for the ball final. She received a score of 23.850 (9.200; 7.600; 7.050) for her routine.
The judge for Bulgaria at this competition is Filipa Filipova, who was on the panel for difficulty with body on ribbon.
Our tally so far is three medals - gold in the girls' team, silver in the girls' ensemble and bronze in the women's team. Today are the finals of the individual apparatuses - four finals in the girls', two in the women's and two in the girls' ensemble.
