Barcelona is raising Rafinha's salary to stop the interest of Saudi clubs in the player, BTA reports. Last season, Al Hilal announced that they were offering 100 million euros to buy Rafinha and guaranteed him a salary of 15 million euros, Relevo writes.
Despite the lack of a concrete offer at the moment, Saudi clubs continue to be interested in Rafinha. Barcelona plans to keep the Brazilian striker in the team and is preparing a new contract for him, which will make him one of the highest-paid players at the club.
The 28-year-old winger's agreement is now valid until the summer of 2027. Earlier, the media reported that Barcelona management was ready to extend his contract until 2030.
This season, Rafinha has played 40 games, scoring 25 goals and making 18 assists.
