Tesla has introduced another gray color, but it costs as much as a used car

Tesla has added a new color for its electric cars, which is called Lunar Grey, which they claim is exclusive. The extra charge for the “extreme grey“ is $2,500, which is not at all small considering the color offerings of other automakers.

We recall that in recent years the American automaker decided that it needed to optimize the color range of its cars to facilitate production planning and order coordination. The new nail is currently available for the company's expensive Model S and Model X cars.

This strategy proved to be successful, but now many of the specialists are aware that the launch of new colors will attract new customers. It seems the automaker is listening to the opinion of the automotive community.

„Lighter, brighter highlights – deeper than before and the shadows are darker. Lunar Silver is a pure silver color with a pronounced metallic effect and a subtle blue tint. Thanks to the use of new pigments, this paint creates a technical and dynamic feel that emphasizes the shapes of Model S and Model X from every angle under the sun, the company said in a statement.
