Windows 11 will soon get a new Start menu design - 1

According to various online sources, Microsoft is working on a major update to the "Start" menu in Windows 11, which is expected to combine the Pinned and Recommended areas with a list of applications into a single interface. In addition, the "Start" menu will become wider, which will allow you to pin more applications, and all items in this section will appear automatically.

The updated "Start" menu will have more options in terms of customizing the display of items. For example, users will be able to remove the "Recommended" section, which usually displays recently installed products or recently opened files, below a block of pinned applications.

One of the first to notice the new "Start" in the latest beta version of Windows 11, available to participants in the Windows Insider program, was a user of the social network X with the nickname @phantomofearth, which he reported on his page.

The update has not yet been officially announced, but with Microsoft's annual developer conference Build taking place in May, we can expect the software giant to reveal more about the new "Start" menu, which will happen in the next few weeks.
