"Ukraine no longer has anything to parasitize on, it has nothing of its own, and the great help from the West will soon stop, and then it will fall apart". This is what the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, wrote in his Telegram channel, reports RIA Novosti.
"There is nothing else for them to parasitize on. The huge aid from the West will soon be stopped and after that there will only be a rapid and inevitable collapse," Medvedev wrote.
"The patrons of Kiev who are sponsoring the war are not trying to help the Ukrainian people, they need access to the minerals in this country,", assessed Medvedev.
"The empty coffers of the neo-Nazi state will not fill themselves. Ukrainian patrons understand this well. Their goal is in no way to help the unfortunate Ukrainian people, for whom they have never cared. Access to ores is what can compensate for the flows of money that are disappearing before our eyes in the process of endless thefts from corrupt Kiev," Medvedev also wrote.
He believes that the Ukrainians are so eager to return Donbass, "which is not theirs, and are desperately supported by the West in this, because they just need money.
Dmitry Medvedev cited data from open sources that put the total value of ore reserves across Ukraine at almost $14.8 billion, "with $7.3 trillion belonging to the so-called Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics".< br />
"In other words, almost half of the national wealth of the former Ukraine is Donbas,", he believes.
