The Foreign Ministry in Moscow announced that the list of European citizens banned from entering the Russian Federation is being expanded, BNR reported.
The measure is in response to the 15th package of sanctions by the European Union.
These include representatives of law enforcement agencies, state and commercial organizations responsible for military assistance to Ukraine, the statement said.
In addition, the list has been expanded to include employees of European structures and state bodies of EU countries involved in the prosecution of Russian officials "for illegal arrests and removal of people from Ukrainian territory", involved in the creation of a "tribunal" regarding the Russian leadership, declaring themselves in favor of confiscating Russian state assets or using the profits from them in the interests of Kiev.
This also concerns those responsible for imposing sanctions against the Russian Federation and for attempts to undermine Russia's relations with other countries, civil activists and representatives of the scientific community who have "distinguished" with their rhetoric, as well as deputies from EU member states and the European Parliament who voted for anti-Russian resolutions and bills.
The Foreign Ministry warns that "all hostile actions by the European Union will continue to receive a timely and adequate response".
