An explosion rocked the Aksehir bar and restaurant in the French city of Grenoble, injuring 12 people, Ici radio reported, citing fire authorities.
“An explosion occurred on Wednesday evening at a bar-restaurant in the Olympic Village in the southern part of Grenoble in the Isère department. As a result, twelve people were injured“, the statement said.
According to firefighters who arrived at the scene, two of the 12 injured were in serious condition and another was in critical condition. According to preliminary data, the explosion was of a criminal nature and was probably caused by the detonation of a grenade.
As the radio station specifies, the building of the establishment also suffered serious damage, all its windows were broken.
The police have not yet arrested anyone.
