Rescuers have found the bodies of six dead miners while clearing the rubble of the collapsed "Zhomart" mine in the Ulitau region of Kazakhstan, and the search for another one is ongoing.

"During search and rescue operations, a group of rescuers found the bodies of six employees of Kazakhmys Corporation LLC. Their identities are being established. An investigation is currently underway to clarify all the circumstances of the incident. The search for the seventh person is ongoing," the statement said.
