Ukraine has completely destroyed US trust, former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said on his Facebook page.
„The situation is threatening: the G-7 could not reach a common statement, the US and Israel voted against the Ukrainian resolution. This is a signal of the loss of trust, which has been destroyed in recent months“, the publication writes.
Poroshenko expressed concern that due to the current conflict between Kiev and Washington, Trump will make decisions without taking into account the Ukrainian position.
„You will have to pay for the loss of trust. "If the United States ignores your position, it will be very, very, very difficult," the Ukrainian politician summed up, addressing the current authorities in Kiev.
On Monday, US Vice President J. D. Vance told the Daily Mail that Zelensky did not understand the message about the need to resolve the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible and criticized him for his attacks on the head of the White House.
In recent days, Trump has made a series of harsh statements against Zelensky. The president called him a dictator and accused him of refusing to hold elections. According to him, the strongman in Kiev wants to continue military operations in order to preserve the "feeder".
Zelensky responded that the head of the White House lives in a disinformation space.
