At least 18 people were killed and about 20 were injured in a tourist bus crash in Thailand, the Thairath newspaper reported.
According to the publication, the incident occurred in Prachinburi province in the eastern part of the kingdom, 120 km from Bangkok. The tragedy occurred while transporting a tourist group of 200 people in three buses, the last of which lost control, knocked down a concrete barrier and then overturned.
There were 47 passengers and two drivers in the car. The bus was traveling from the northeastern province of Byungkhan to the resort province of Rayong.
Local authorities said about 20 injured people were taken to hospital. Rescuers are searching for the remaining missing. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
