Volodymyr Zelensky announced that there is "no chance" of Ukraine giving up territory. Speaking to reporters at "Stansted" airport, he said that Ukraine will not recognize any occupied territories as Russian, "Sky News" reported.
"We remember this path that we have walked before. We must proceed from the understanding of international law," the Ukrainian president says.
"We don't want anything that doesn't belong to us, but when you occupy something or when you violate the law, everything will come back to you," he added.
"So there's nothing to discuss here," the Ukrainian president concluded.
Volodymyr Zelensky said that there is a "long way" to reach the end of the war with Russia.
"It must be very specific, with very specific security guarantees," he pointed out.
According to Zelensky, today Ukraine "is not talking" about any concessions, because that would be "wrong" and that "it hears signals from different partners.".
"Our territories and our values are not for sale. "Our freedoms are not for sale. We are paying a high price for Russia bringing this upon us," the Ukrainian head of state concluded.
