Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Russian women on International Women's Day, noting that much in life depends on their talent, responsibility and love.
"Dear women, we know that much in life depends on you, on your talents, creative energy, love, and the exceptional responsibility with which you approach any task. And I repeat, we always admire your beauty, tenderness, charm", Putin said in his congratulation.
He added that today "words of love, gratitude and respect" are heard everywhere from men for everything that women do "both at home for their families and friends, and at work, sometimes performing very difficult professional tasks".
„You really manage to do everything. You surround your children with care and achieve incredible success in various fields. You combine strength and fragility, courage and tenderness. You invariably conquer with your beauty and charm. And, of course, you inspire men to do wonderful things, to strive to achieve more, to become better, to be true defenders of their family, home and homeland“, the head of state noted.
Putin also wished women success, health and well-being. "All the best to you and your loved ones. Be happy with those who are dear to you. Happy holiday to you too! Happy International Women's Day!" - the president summed up.
