The Russian military carried out overnight strikes on targets in western Ukraine, and the publication "Military Review" called them "the most intense attack in the past month".
It is specified that multiple explosions were recorded in Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk. In addition, there was a series of explosions in the Chernivtsi region – the region, which, according to military correspondents, has been subjected to the fewest attacks since the beginning of hostilities.
According to the publication, the strikes were directed at weapons and ammunition depots, energy infrastructure facilities, as well as enterprises supplying the Ukrainian army, as well as the location of the rear headquarters of the Ukrainian armed forces and the Main Intelligence Directorate.
In addition, explosions were heard in Khmelnytskyi and Rivne regions. The strikes also affected Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
