Germany intends to provide an additional three billion euros in military aid to Ukraine, reports "Reuters", reports News.bg.
Finance Minister Jörg Kukis informed the parliament's budget committee of the move, according to a draft document from his ministry.
The decision is seen as a significant breakthrough after outgoing Chancellor Olaf Scholz previously blocked the additional aid, insisting on easing borrowing rules as a prerequisite.
Yesterday, parliament voted for a seismic reform of fiscal rules, which ensures the conditions for the aid.
