The US military has carried out several new strikes in three provinces in Yemen that are under the control of the Houthis, the rebel-owned Al Masirah TV channel reported.
According to the media, the provinces of Al-Hodeidah, Saada and Hajjah were attacked.
The Washington Air Force has struck a Houthi training camp in Al-Hodeidah province in western Yemen, Al Hadath TV channel said, citing its sources.
Three water supply workers were killed and three others were wounded in the strikes on Al-Hodeidah.
According to the channel, loud explosions were heard in the city of Hodeidah, and The US military used powerful aerial bombs.
The airstrike in Saada province targeted areas where Yemeni rebel leaders are hiding.
A medical center and a school were shelled in Hajjah province.
For their part, the Houthis attacked US ships and the aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman in the Red Sea three times in 24 hours.
“The naval, missile and drone forces of our armed forces carried out several strikes with cruise missiles and UAVs on enemy warships in the Red Sea, led by the US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman. This is the third clash in the last 24 hours,“ said the movement's representative Yahya Sariya in a statement on his Telegram channel.
On March 15, US President Donald Trump announced the start of a military operation against the rebels, who control about a third of Yemen's territory. He explained the decision by the Houthis' attacks on merchant ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. The USS Harry Truman aircraft carrier group, based in the Red Sea, is participating in the operation. The US regularly carries out strikes on territory in Yemen controlled by the Ansar Allah movement.
