An Israeli Air Force drone struck a pickup truck and an excavator in southern Lebanon, wounding two people who later died in hospital, the republic's Health Ministry said, without specifying whether the dead were members of Hezbollah's armed militia or civilians.

According to the news portal Lebanon 24, Israeli artillery opened fire on Lebanese territory in the Al-Wazani River area in the first half of the day. The missiles were fired at the border area near the villages of Rab-Taliatin, Qula and Al-Taibi. No information was provided about the consequences of these attacks.
