US President Donald Trump has expressed his dissatisfaction with the Russian bombing that continues in Ukraine despite his administration's attempts to broker a ceasefire, Agence France-Presse reported, BTA reported.
"I'm not happy with what's going on with the bombing because (the Russian military) is bombing like crazy right now", Trump told reporters as he welcomed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House yesterday.
"We have meetings with Russia, we have meetings with Ukraine, and it seems like things are coming together a little bit, but I'm not happy with all this bombing last week", he summed up.
The US president, who during the November election campaign promised to resolve the conflict "in 24 hours", established contacts with Russia after returning to the White House on January 20. However, he was unable to achieve a ceasefire, AFP reports.
At least 20 people, including 9 children, were killed in a Russian missile strike on Friday in a residential area of Kryvyi Rih, according to local authorities.
Thirty-one of the more than 90 injured in the attack on the hometown of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky remain in hospital. Seven of them, including three children, are in critical condition, Ukrinform reported, citing authorities.
