Putin: The regime in Kiev continues to steal billions from the West and its people, exporting them abroad - 1

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that attempts to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia have failed.

At a meeting with heads of municipal entities of the Russian Federation, Putin noted that the courage, heroism and strength of spirit of Russians have always been the key to the existence of the country itself, but not everyone who tries to encroach on the integrity, independence and sovereignty of Russia understands this.

"With the failure of attempts to inflict a defeat on the battlefield of the West comes the realization that the key to the existence of Russia is the courage of its citizens," the Russian leader said.

"The Kiev regime did only one thing: pumped resources and money from other countries and their peoples. They stole money, excuse the simplicity of the expression, and still keep it in bank accounts abroad. That is why there is such a desire to cooperate and give everything to their sponsors. They are not fighting for the interests of the people, they are fighting for their capital, which they stole from the Ukrainian people and took abroad - that's it. We are talking about billions of dollars, but they continue to steal. "

The head of state thanked the residents of the border regions for their "courage, heroism and strength of spirit". He assured that the authorities will do everything to support the residents of the Kursk border region.
The president stressed the need to meet the deadlines for restoration work in the "new regions", and financial assistance to victims of shelling should be provided "as many times as necessary".

The authorities must support the residents of the new regions who have chosen to become part of Russia, the president said.

Putin is pleased with the appearance at all levels of government of people with combat experience, especially in the so-called "new regions".

"The fighters of the operation are the elite, they are our gold reserve, we are not afraid to hand over the state to them.
The participants in the special operation who want to continue working in state institutions need help to gain the necessary experience. This is what we need to educate the current and future generations on. This is where the hope of the homeland for the future comes from, this is where our attitude towards the Fatherland grows. And in all age groups. This is our main fortress, our most important weapon for ensuring the future of Russia“, said the head of state.

The president called the topic of perpetuating the memory of the heroes of the “special military operation” extremely important.

“This must be done on a large scale and should not be carried out bureaucratically, but come from the heart. Education, based on the example of the exploits of the defenders of the Fatherland, is the most important weapon of Russia. We must make sure that this remains for centuries. Here we must name streets and schools after heroes, introduce modern means of disseminating information about the exploits of our children, and there are many, enough of them – "and this is exactly what we must educate the current and future generations on," the president added.
