Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that components made by American companies were found in a ballistic missile manufactured in North Korea and fired by Russia in the attacks on Kiev, BTA reports.
According to Zelensky, the missile that killed 12 civilians in Kiev contained at least 116 components from different countries, including many manufactured by American companies.

He stressed that the lack of sufficient pressure on Russia to force it to stop using these missiles and weapons has allowed Moscow to import such dangerous systems into Europe. “This is a problem that must be resolved,“ the Ukrainian leader said.
Since the start of the war in 2022, Ukraine has repeatedly reported finding components from American and other Western companies in ammunition used by Russia. Authorities in Kiev have been publishing data on these discoveries on government platforms.
In addition, Kiev has accused China of helping Russia by allowing it to circumvent international sanctions by providing it with technological components that are used in the Russian military industry.
Meanwhile, Britain has imposed a ban on the export to Russia of video game consoles that can be used to pilot drones, as well as electronic components that can be used in Russian weapons systems.
