Two people were killed and five others injured in a large-scale attack by Russian drones on the southern Ukrainian port city of Odessa, local authorities reported, quoted by DPA and BTA.
Several high-rise residential buildings, a supermarket, a school and cars were damaged in the attack, regional governor Oleg Kiper wrote on “Telegram” early this morning. Fires broke out in some parts of the city, he added.
The eastern city of Kharkiv was also attacked, regional governor Oleg Sinegubov reported. He added that a fire broke out as a result of the attack.
An industrial facility was hit in the northern city of Sumy, near the border with Russia, acting mayor Artyom Kobzar said on Telegram.
