At 5 p.m. on "Sveta Nedelya" Square in Sofia, the participants in the "Lukovmarsh" gathered, BNR reported.
The march was banned by order of Mayor Vasil Terziev, but the court later overturned the mayor's ban.
The event is taking place with an extremely heavy police presence. People tried to walk together to the home of Gen. Lukov, but the police surrounded them and dispersed them into small groups, each of which is accompanied by police officers along the way.
Today there is no falkel procession traditionally associated with the event, since it is All Souls' Day, the organizers explained.
