The new goalkeeper of CSKA - Ivan Dyulgerov spoke to the club television of the "reds", reported Topsport.
He gave an interview after his first two matches with the team from Sofia, in which the team lost 0:1 against Ludogorets and beat Heber 3:1.
"The initial emotions were good, I got used to the team, the boys accepted me well. There is a synchronicity between us and the guys we know from the national team. There is a good collective in the team and this will help us in the future to win more points and more matches.
For me, CSKA is the biggest team in Bulgaria. Organizationally, we are at one of the highest levels in Bulgarian football. We are here to become champions, we are not here to live and be in third, fourth or fifth place. The goal for CSKA is to be champions.
The coach is quite emotional, he cares about discipline and the team, and as it was seen from the matches with Ludogorets and Heber, I have not seen any team outplay Ludogorets in Razgrad, it is thanks to him, with his energy that he applies, we helps to give 100% during matches. I have very good impressions of the goalkeeper coach, we work very well with him, very nice and healthy training sessions. Every goalkeeper has to learn and take something from every coach. I will try thanks to him to grow even more.
As soon as I came here, I was ready to be the first choice goalkeeper, there is great competition with Gustavo Busato and Marin Orlinov. This will help the team and us as goalkeepers", continued Ivan Dyulgerov.
My expectations for the next matches? Being at CSKA, what expectations do you have, apart from winning every match? CSKA plays only and only to win. We are going back to Varna and there we have to win at all costs, regardless of what it will cost us.
When you get a call from CSKA, you can't say no to CSKA. It is very difficult. Whatever other offers you have, maybe this was the best for my career and to help the team become champions. I want to be a leader, help the team win as many points as possible and become a champion with CSKA", concluded Ivan Dyulgerov.
