Boston beat Chicago 123:98 as a guest in a regular season match of the National Basketball Association of the United States and Canada (NBA) behind 43 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists from Jayson Tatum. Anthony Edwards scored 19 points for Minnesota, but made only 6 of his 20 field goals.

LeBron James led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 103-99 win over Sacramento, scoring 32 points. D'Angelo Russell had 20 points for the visitors, and Domantas Sabonis had 19 points and 19 rebounds for the Kings.

In other NBA action on the night, Atlanta lost to Memphis 112-128 at home, Utah beat Brooklyn 105-94, and Cleveland beat Philadelphia 126-99 at home. Milwaukee defeated Washington 112-101 at home, New York defeated New Orleans 104-93 on the road, Dallas defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 113-97 at home, and San Antonio also achieved a home victory over Portland 114-94.
