The Scottish giant Celtic ended 2024 with a crushing 4:0 victory over St. Johnstone as a host in a match from the 20th round of the Premiership, FOCUS reported.
The match was played at the "Celtic Park" stadium in Glasgow.
The German Nicholas-Gerit Kuhn opened the scoring in the 30th minute after an assist from the Japanese Reo Hatate.
Two other Japanese players made the final 4:0. Kyogo Furuhashi was accurate in the 59th and 64th minutes, and the last goal was scored by Daizen Maeda.
With the success, the "cloverleaf" finish 2024 at the top of the standings with an asset of 50 points, achieved after 16 wins and 2 draws, having 2 games less.
St. Johnson are last (12th) with 14 points.
