Bulgarian international Alexander Vezenkov reached a personal best in the Euroleague men's basketball and recorded the third best achievement in the history of the tournament with 45 points. This happened in Olympiacos' victory over Bayern Munich with 112:69. After the end of the match, Vezenkov did not hide his emotions, BTA reports.
„It was one of those nights when you just feel great. I found free spaces, my teammates found me in good positions. I don't stop working and I am ready for every game. After all, the most important thing is the victory. We played very strong defense in the first quarter. Everyone contributed, everyone was ready, so we are happy“, he announced.
“It is great. Our philosophy is to give the ball to each other. When we play unselfishly, things work out. It all started with our good play in the first quarter. I never thought I would be able to do something so historic for this club“, Vezenkov added.
