The compact electric SUV Skoda Elroq was shown at the Tour de France cycling race in its original camouflage, which will be preserved until the official premiere of the car. The inspiration for the camo is a detail from the brand's logo.

The basis of the camouflage of the Skoda Elroq is a trapezoid formed by part of the first letter of the brand and an integrated accent (which turns the sound "s" into "sh"). This detail is repeated in different sizes and alignments to create a pattern that aims to give the feel of the car's exterior without giving away the details.

The unmasked car will not be revealed until its world premiere. The trapezoidal camouflage is based on Skoda's new graphic pattern and also reflects the character of the Elroq, which will be the first car to feature the Czech automaker's new Modern Solid design language.

„Camouflage accentuates the elegant yet rugged silhouette of the Elroq. At the same time, it perfectly covers the details of the new model and combines two of our company colors to attract attention and increase brand recognition, “ says Michael Lansdorff from Skoda's marketing department.

However, the car's camouflage has another feature that cannot be overlooked: the flamingos on the rear windows.

„Why flamingo? Firstly, their bright pink color creates a remarkable contrast with the green colors of the Skoda brand. Second, they have some significance to Elroq, which you'll learn more about this fall. Stay with us “, says Veronika Zigaus, Head of “Brand Strategy and Content Production“ in Skoda.

Built on the MEB platform, the compact electric SUV Elroq is similar in technical characteristics to the models of the Enyaq family. It's the first car from the Czech automaker to use the all-new Modern Solid design language, which is evident in the new Tech Deck Face grille and Skoda lettering up front. The Elroq offers a range of up to 560 kilometers on a single charge and has a 470 liter boot.
