Residents of several settlements in the border Krasnoyaruz region of the Belgorod region left their homes on their own, but no evacuation was required.
"During the night, alarming information was received. A large number of residents of the village of Krasnaya Yaruga and nearby villages made an independent decision to temporarily leave their homes. My deputy Sergey Dyadkin and the head of the public security department Yevgeny Vorobyov were present all the time in the Krasnoyaruz region. We had a connection with the military, there was no need to evacuate. But the decision the people made was wise and right. I hope that everyone has already returned home”, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on the Telegram channel in a video message.
Gladkov added that during the past 24 hours the area was shelled 39 times, 46 drone attacks were carried out.
On August 9, it was introduced in Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod regions. The information center of the National Counter-Terrorism Committee reported that this was necessary to ensure the safety of citizens and to suppress terrorist attacks by the Kyiv regime, which made an unprecedented attempt to destabilize the situation in some regions of the country.
