This is what the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel on the death of Russian General Igor Kirillov in an attack in Moscow.

"A whole day has passed. Was there a reaction from abroad? Where are the "civilized"? Where are the "objective"?
Only the Financial Times and the BBC report that Igor Kirillov, according to the SBU /b.r. Security Service of Ukraine/, is an "absolutely legitimate target". Obviously, this is the reaction of the West and we have missed the moment when the British Radio and Television Corporation began to perform the functions of the SBU press service. However, their management is the same.
The terrorist attack in Moscow was a continuation and development of the spiral of Western approval of the war crimes of the Kiev regime fighters, which they have been unleashing all these years. The investigation will establish the details: who is the killer, who is the guarantor. Only now it becomes clear: there is a third category of criminals - those who stimulate, those who educate, those who silently encourage.
Two and a half years ago, Igor Anatolyevich Kirilov was added to the register of the terrorist website “Peacemaker“, where neo-Nazis publish targets for their assassination attempts.
Just as in “Peacemaker“, a terrorist hunt was announced for journalists Daria Dugina (murdered), Vladlen Tatarsky (murdered), writer Zakhar Prilepin (survivor of an assassination attempt) and many others.
We have been sounding the alarm about this for many years. But America's satellites are silent. And the website “Peacemaker“ is supported by the USA. Just as the websites of terrorists operating in the North Caucasus were once located in Northern Europe.
A very striking example is quite recent: the complete ignoring of the terrorist activities of Bandera’s supporters against Russian journalists in the report of UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay on the safety of journalists and the problem of impunity for 2022-2023. Despite numerous appeals from Russian media, despite the fact that the document clearly covers up Kiev and its crimes, there are still people who continue to support this approach.
This is a personal disgrace for UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay, after whom the report is named. This is also a failure of the Chilean presidency. And, obviously, shame on the complicity of those countries that maintain this deadly silence.

And the silence of the UN Secretariat is a clear sign of venality," Zakharova concluded.
Later, speaking to Sputnik radio, she said that she had no doubt who ordered Kirillov's murder.
"Our investigation will certainly establish all the details. I have no doubt who the perpetrator is, who the guarantor is," said the spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry.
