Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev did not sign the Agreement with Ukraine, it remains for a regular cabinet. He announced this to journalists in Brussels, quoted by BNT.

Glavchev said that the Ukrainian president showed full understanding.

"I said, when you are ready, I am available", the caretaker prime minister pointed out.

"There will be no diplomatic scandal. There is absolute understanding, we are waiting for the National Assembly to give some direction on what we should do," Glavchev added.

He expressed hope that there will soon be a regular government that will take a position.

"I hope this will not be the leading topic in determining whether there will be a regular government or not."

According to him, at the moment the members of parliament speak, a prime minister will go to sign together with President Zelensky.

"If it is within the framework of this caretaker government, I will go to sign with Zelensky," Glavchev also said.
He indicated that he is waiting for a decision from the National Assembly, since there is an interpretative decision by the Constitutional Court that the competencies of the caretaker government are within its mandate. And the Agreement states that it is signed for 10 years. I do not believe that the term of office of this caretaker government is that long, Glavchev also commented.

Earlier today, he stated that he would sign the Agreement only after a decision by the National Assembly.
Parliament Speaker Natalia Kiselova did not allow the Agreement with Ukraine on Security Cooperation to be voted on in the plenary hall. This happened after "DPS-New Beginning" requested that Kiselova include their project as an additional item on the agenda, with which the parliament gives the caretaker prime minister a mandate to sign the document.
