North Korea condemned the United States in a statement for sending military aircraft over the Korean peninsula several times this month, as well as for conducting air military exercises with Japan and South Korea. This was reported by "Reuters" on Friday, citing state media KCNA.
North Korea also condemned the joint nuclear advisory group between the United States and South Korea, which seeks to manage the North's nuclear threat, the report said.
North Korea will "firmly restrain any military provocations", exercising its full right of self-defense, KCNA said, citing the country's foreign ministry.
During the latest NCG meeting held last week, the United States reaffirmed its commitment to improving regular visibility of US strategic assets on the Korean Peninsula, according to a joint statement by the United States and South Korea.
