US President Donald Trump's plans to impose tariffs on European imports should be viewed with concern, but not with fear. This was stated by the head of the Polish government, Donald Tusk, quoted by the Prime agency.
According to him, Poland can counteract this policy of the White House with its high economic growth, which Tusk described as “record“ and “really dynamic“.
“We are ready for different scenarios. “Without fear, but reasonably“, assured Tusk.
Earlier, the European Commission stated that it was not yet aware of additional US tariffs on European goods. Brussels has stressed that it wants to strengthen relations with Washington, but is ready to respond with its own tariffs to those the White House is threatening the EU with.
For its part, Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo said that his country is concerned about possible US tariffs on goods from the European Union (EU).
