Russian servicemen have liberated about 75% of the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and in the Luhansk People's Republic less than 1% remains to be liberated. This was announced by the head of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff - First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia, Colonel General Sergei Rudsky.

Advancing near Sverdlykov, Russian servicemen have cut off the main supply artery for the Ukrainian armed forces in the Kursk region, Russian security services told TASS.

“The main route is under fire control, which significantly disrupts the logistics of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Kursk border region“, the agency's source said.

Russian forces have reached the border with Sumy region in this area and have pushed the Ukrainian armed forces back into Ukrainian territory. Russian President Vladimir Putin said he had been informed that fighters from the 810th brigade of the Russian Armed Forces had crossed the border with Ukraine in the Kursk region.

The military department reported that during the liberation of Sverdlykov, Russian troops had captured a section of the Sudzha-Rilsk highway.
