Over 730 residents of the border areas of Kursk region have been evacuated to safe areas since March 12, the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported.

"The services of the Russian Emergencies Ministry continue to provide assistance to residents of the border areas of Kursk region. Since March 12, employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, the Russian Defense Ministry and volunteers have evacuated 731 people“, the statement said.

People are being immediately taken to temporary accommodation centers, where they are receiving assistance, including document restoration. In safe zones, psychologists from the Russian Emergencies Ministry and specialists from other departments are working with the evacuated residents.

In addition, the hotline opened at the Main Directorate of the Emergencies Ministry in the Kursk Region continues to operate. "You can use it around the clock to clarify the lists of people taken from the border areas and the availability of places in temporary accommodation centers. Since August 2024, more than 22 thousand calls have been received," the press service notes.
