Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Moscow, where he will meet with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, TASS reported, BTA reports.
Photos of the arrival were published on the Iranian minister's official Telegram channel.
Araghchi had earlier said that the main purpose of his visit was to deliver a personal message from Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The United States and Iran are expected to begin a new round of talks on Saturday on Tehran's nuclear program, a key issue in international diplomacy and regional security.
