There is no way that political instability does not affect business, especially given the missed benefits of the fact that we failed to achieve important priorities for the country, such as membership in the Eurozone, Schengen, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
Vasil Velev from the Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria said this on Euronews PrimeTime.
In his words, the fact that we are not members of these three groups and organizations makes the country less competitive. During the time of political instability, we note a deterioration of the work of the systems, of the state administration, as well as legal security.
According to Velev, however, there is a collapse of the European economy itself, so the demands on the Bulgarian rulers and the expectations that the society has for them are even greater. He noted that one of the sectors where there has been a sharp decline is the education system, where over the past four years, during which there have been eight governments, secondary school graduates have fallen by 20%.
