This is what the MP from “There is such a people“ (ITN) Pavela Mitova before bTV in response to a question about whether a coalition between GERB, PP-DB, BSP and ITN with Prime Minister Boyko Borisov is possible.
„We have said that we will not talk to the formation around Peevski, and if such a structure starts to form, we will not participate. Borisov said that he will not talk to either of the two DPS, and if we are talking about some construction around the first political force, this also excludes the APS. He also ruled out “Revival”, I see no reason not to talk to the other formations, but the ball is in their court”, she added.
According to her, there are currently discussions about the legislative initiatives laid down in the PP-DB declaration.
„We are invited to talks with “Revival”, we will see next week what they will be. We had a conversation with GERB, which concerned the financial stability of the country. I hope that the political formations will use the time until Wednesday to conduct a quality political dialogue and to stop focusing on individuals and on topics," Pavela Mitova pointed out.

„The nomination of PP for chairman is surprising– Andrey Tsekov, because when you are talking about a sanitary cordon around a certain figure, it is not a good option to nominate a person for whom there are serious doubts that he is close to this other individual. This is like treating radiation with uranium pills,” said the MP from ITN.
According to her, during their nomination for the Speaker of the Parliament, GERB did not pay attention to the professional qualities of their candidate.
„For me, it was very strange that Temenuzka Petkova said two sentences about the professional qualities of their nomination and continued with what her affiliations are with GERB bodies. Apparently, this is the basis for who will be the president”, she added.
According to ITN, a temporary option is for the oldest member of parliament, in this case Silvi Kirilov, to perform this function until a majority is found.
According to Mitova, Kirilov can also be acting prime minister if a majority is not found to form a government.
„The Fathers“ of the sixth amendment to the Constitution, they argued that these changes were made so that there would be no political control over the offices, and that is exactly what is happening. It is a problem for the acting prime minister to be a political figure only if he is not one of our people. We have attacked these amendments in the Constitutional Court. We believe that the division of powers implies that the old way of functioning and the powers of the president should be returned, the Electoral Code should be changed, and the old regulations of the Constitution should be returned, Pavela Mitova noted.
