The renovation of the "Kriviya" tunnel on the I-1 road through the Kresna Gorge has been completed, the "Road Infrastructure" Agency announced.
The facility has new energy-efficient lighting - leading, adaptive and emergency, the asphalt pavement and horizontal markings have been renewed, the walls have been cleaned and painted. A lighting pole in front of one of the tunnel entrances has been replaced.
The missing or compromised, about 100 in total, dividing posts in the section of the I-1 road through the gorge have also been renewed. The new dividers are 1 m high and are slightly higher than the previous ones, since when they were installed three years ago, the regulatory requirements for flexible dividers were for a height of 75 centimeters.
The rest are about to be gradually replaced.
