The emergency teams of “Toplofikatsiya Sofia” EAD have begun repair activities to repair the main heating pipeline on III-A Iskarska Magistrala. During that night, drainage and ventilation of the passable collector in the section were carried out. This allowed the activities to begin earlier than planned.
Due to the large diameter of the compromised heating pipeline (1200 mm), its length and the large volume of water for drainage (approximately 3600 m3), the filling of the sections of the heat transfer network and the restoration of normal heat supply require a longer technological time, which is estimated to be 12.00 p.m. on February 16, 2025. All teams and equipment are on site, working without interruption according to the previously established schedule and making maximum efforts to restore the heat supply as quickly as possible.
Of the additional breakthroughs in highway and main heat pipelines falling into the suspended sections, the teams continue work only on “Geo Milev” Str. at the intersection with “22-ri septemvri” Str. and on “General José De San Martin” Str. at the intersection with “Svetlostruy” Str. The remaining breaches have now been fixed.
