"We were not afraid of "Majesty" entering parliament, but the way it happened is disturbing, because no one knew what was happening in the Constitutional Court - there was fog and silence, until in an unprecedented way the chairman of the Constitutional Court came out and made a political statement. Two months ago, the Constitutional Court knew that there were missing bags and did not take any action", he said in "Since the Day" Dragomir Stoynev, chairman of the parliamentary group of "BSP - United Left".
In his words, the unprecedentedly fragmented parliament is a reflection of the division in Bulgarian society.
Dragomir Stoynev showed a protocol from the capital's "Triaditsa" district, in which 165 votes were deleted.
The question is who deleted them, writing zero in the tables that were provided to the CEC is not acceptable. If the prosecutor's office was notified when it was known that specific ballots were missing - these ballots should have been found. We want greater transparency," Dragomir Stoynev added.
According to him, citizens are suffering from this institutional scandal, who are losing trust in the electoral process and undermining the foundations of power.
"Of course, there could have been a better budget, but the first one is for stabilizing the economy, we cannot expect miracles," Dragomir Stoynev also said.
