All parties more or less owe their apology for holding the elections. This was stated in "The Day Begins" by Gabriel Valkov, MP from "BSP - United Left".
"There is no way for one person to decide what to do in one section, because there are 7 representatives from 7 different parties inside," he said.
The machines are not a bad step, Valkov also said, but he specified that the fact is debatable whether the elections are fairer when voting is done with machines.
"I don't see machine voting anywhere at the moment. Almost nowhere in the world. Which means that other countries are clearly worried about something from the machines, too," said Valkov.
According to him, each country has different practices and gave the example of Spain, where after the elections are over, the ballots are destroyed. "And even this counting that we are talking about right now cannot take place," he specified.
Gabriel Valkov also confirmed that he trusts the Constitutional Court.
"We trust it because the Constitutional Court is, I think at least, a respected institution of professionals and lawyers. The other issue is that when we talk about this decision, we are also talking about experts who were hired by the Constitutional Court, and they conducted the checks. I personally have certain doubts about their actions as to whether they are correct as solutions to the problems, he said.
