The Constitutional Court trampled on what it should defend - the Constitution. The parliament itself, in the face of the new majority led by Peevski, trampled on the powers and rights of the MPs to be lawmakers and legislators. This was stated by Tsoncho Ganev from “Vazrazhdane“, quoted by novini.bg.
“Yesterday, at the Committee on Budget and Finance, the majority said that the MPs do not have the right to submit legislative initiatives, they will be grouped in the way they want and not each of them will be put to a vote. On the other hand, at the Committee on Budget and Finance, one of Peevski's proposals was adopted - to create sections in post offices for selling sausages with an initial capital of 10 million. Everything else from the opposition was rejected“, he announced.

“The Constitutional Court trampled on the will of those who voted. It disregarded 7 sections, just to bring “Duplicity“ (“Majesty“ - ed. note) into the parliament. We also have a parliament that continues to trample on the legislation in the country. Lawlessness is the norm, the trampling of the Constitution is happening not only by those in power, but also by the Constitutional Court. Nothing good is ahead for the state. We see that the Constitution is being trampled on and we will not accept this as something normal,“ the MP from “Vazrazhdane“ is categorical.
Regarding all 38,000 proposals from “Vazrazhdane“ for the budget, Ganev asked: “Are we chasing a standard and want to take away the legislative initiative from the members of parliament? We will work as long as necessary. We will work 24 hours a day, if necessary
