„If the European Prosecutor's Office in Bulgaria had been hacked, we would have quickly found out, since there would have been no investigation into the Chiren project. Delyan Peevski would have had the opportunity to influence the European Prosecutor's Office. We know about the restaurant „The Eight Dwarfs” and that there are recordings from 2008. The bigger problem is that the people who were there now do not want to talk”, commented PP-DB MP Ivaylo Mirchev in the studio of the show „Offensive with Lyubo Ognyanov” on NOVA NEWS.
According to him, the European Prosecutor's Office is not stopping the investigation into the “Chiren” project. “There is evidence of racketeering and extortion by Delyan Peevski for 20 million leva. The Bulgarian Prosecutor's Office should also take action and request Peevski's immunity, if Teodora Georgieva's allegations are true. Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov has not said anything about the case so far”, Mirchev added.
Vladimir Malinov for director of “Bulgartransgaz”
He also discussed the topic of the request of representatives of “Democratic Bulgaria” that Vladimir Malinov not be reappointed as director of “Bulgartransgaz”. “This is the same person who is behind the “Botas” affair. Vladimir Malinov is also behind the project for “Chiren”, he is the person who various rulers have used to do unpleasant things in the Bulgarian energy sector, related to natural gas”, Mirchev pointed out.
The vote of no confidence
“The vote of no confidence is against the government's foreign policy. From the PP-DB we have many remarks about the government's foreign policy, but we cannot support the vote of no confidence. It is caused by forces in the Bulgarian parliament that are pushing the country towards Russia”, the MP explained.
