I do not think that in terms of what is happening in the SOS, it can be a catastrophe. It is clear that there were reasons for this to happen. Let's get to this point. But in the end, I hope that everyone will step into their role as an opposition, a constructive one, and as rulers with clearer management of roles. And in the end, we will continue to do what is important for the city, this was stated in the program "Panorama" by the mayor of Sofia Vasil Terziev.
,We have never had a majority, stated the mayor of Sofia.
"We started as a minority. We have a governing economic majority. This has been the case since day one. So the balance of power has not changed. As an administration, we will have to constantly seek support for all important topics, including "Save Sofia". But from my experience with Boris Bonev so far, I am convinced that we will find common themes and our long-term priorities do not diverge. Rather, we have differences in views on how they should be achieved, how the priorities should look".
We did not separate in order to reunite, Terziev said. "But for all important topics, we must seek fairly broad support. We will also rely on the PP-DB and "Save Sofia", he added.
As achievements of the city government, Terziev pointed to the reform of the inspectorate, infrastructure projects, the garbage plant, kindergartens. The difficulties begin to come from how to finance "our bold projects".
"The list of things we have done is quite long. We are also working on having the first new parks. Three times more sidewalks were built last year than the year before. There is no area in which we have done worse than the previous administration".
Terziev said that there are bold ambitions, but "with the legacy we have, miracles cannot be achieved".
